Journal Entry - Danny

Hello World.
UggggghhhH!!! We have been so busy lately with everything. Worst part is This is just the beginning, The Single comes out on Nov. 2!!!! IM SOOOO EXCITED!!! So we will be doing a bunch of appearances and shows!!! We have been in the studio recording new songs and just finishing up soooo Much...Thanks to Marshall and the rest of the Team that truly make it happen. :O I was in Miami Today and realized how much I truly love this City. It inspires me Alot and got me thinking... all together, I'm learning alot about myself through this whole process... Trying to gain more experience for more inspiration for the future.

I thought about doing this whole journal entry thing so everyone can get a better understanding or point of view on the type of people we truly are. I will say for myself, nothing makes me happier than touching people with my music, And on top of that...Doing music with people I love and truly care about. We always say that we are really close and nothing will break this band apart. (but thats what every band says before "the evil girlfriend" comes along.) Just kidding. (no...really.)

Like Marshall says we are at a critical point in our career, Either we make it or break it. But man Oh man Will we make it. Alot of this "band stuff" is all about egos to me...if alot of people just put their egos aside everything would be awesome. Either that or you clone yourself 6 times and learn how to play every instrument. lol. But that will never happen. (unless your Ryan Leslie).

Well, I realize by doing these little journal entries, how A.D.D. i truly am. lol. Cannot stay on one subject...Cupcakes, Milkshakes, Mixtapes, and skyscrapers. I will end this entry by thanking the people who truly support me, My band, and My Dream, GOD BLESS YOU ALL & THANK YOU!!!!

It's almost over!!! And honestly I cant wait. All this is soooo annoying, the news, arguments everywhere, and effin bumper stickers!!!! Man O Man!!!


Can't we all just get along???

Well, I haven't been able to log on and make a new entry in a while, So might as well late then never and make it a pretty big one. We've been doing shows all over the place, Recently we have played at Beats on the Beach which is a Music Conference in Miami. It was great!!! In the artist showcase, We placed First!!! It feels good to win first because we work really hard to get where we are and where we are going....This doesn't come Easy! We'll we've also been up to Orlando and New Smyrna Beach. That was a lot of fun. people we're really friendly and we are just not used to that in our neck of the woods..So it was kinda creepy to be honest! But overall it was a blast...Here are some clips enjoy.

It is 3 something in the morning....I haven't got any sleep the last 2 days, it is pitch black in my room, except for the light on my sidekick... and yet because I keep hearing this song in my head, until I stop, get up, write it down, I can't sleep. It's hard, hardest reason is......I have to go to work tomorrow! People ask how do I write songs and how it works......honestly its wierd. This song that is keeping me up for example: I hop in the shower, and it hits me, I hear guitar and drums, start beatboxing it then once I have that down, I start singing/rapping whatever u want to call It. I t just happens, I couldn't force it if I tried.....but it's still hard work to balance everything. Just to give a checkpoint....its a samba type song that's gonna be huge in Brazil.....remember I said that ;)

independent....

Anyone that knows me knows that there is nothing that I hate more then having the feeling like I'm depending on someone for something. Imagine this, picture the thing you love the most (me for example:music).....If I hire anyone for anything, they don't share the same passion for what I do. I find myself.....producing, directing artwork, setting up shows, etc. For myself....being independent has a whole different meaning to me. Nobody will feel the same about your dream.

It is 1:51am and we just got out of practice! It has become a routine.....I feel like this blog is my way to vent! Even though I don't think anyone even reads these things, maybe after the band becomes huge!!! Man, I have sooo much faith in what we are doing! The music we're making now is coming out beautiful! This is the beginning of a new movement.....I Promise.
