Beautiful Life

I was in the studio recording with my boy Ian Holmes last night in Harlem, and mid song i realized how much fun i was having and how i take what we get the opportunity to do for granted. I'm living the dream!!!! It becomes routine the more we do it. But I remember when i started out doing music... My Dream was to be in major studios and make records I love, and tour, and all the things I do now pretty much. That just proves how awesome God is and how much hard work pays off. Sometimes we need to just stop and realize how great life really is.

Writing....

Working on a new song. Can't say I've been the most inspired these past few days, A Lot on my mind... I am excited we leave to Texas and Philly for a couple days. Being on the road always seems to do it for me. I don't really like writing under pressure, But in this business you need to learn to get better at it. I believe Music has it's own effect on everyone, For me it defines so much more than just sounds and fun. It's my Therapy.

Journal Post - Utica, NY

Just got into our hotel room here in Utica, NY. 20 Hour Drive From ARKANSAS!!!! We did get to stop by in St Louis on the way! Never been to a lot of the places we've been on this tour. Met a lot of cool people. Plenty of people hearing us for the very first time. And that makes me happy, and makes me think of how much work we have to do. So far this tour has been amazing! Not over yet, We go Home for a show in Miami with MIMS and our buddies Dangerflow.... Will be a blasty blast. Than we back on the road for another show at the University of Memphis! We have plenty of news to share with everyone soon. Thanks to everyone that made this tour possible and all the people that support our dream. Love you.

Hello World.
UggggghhhH!!! We have been so busy lately with everything. Worst part is This is just the beginning, The Single comes out on Nov. 2!!!! IM SOOOO EXCITED!!! So we will be doing a bunch of appearances and shows!!! We have been in the studio recording new songs and just finishing up soooo Much...Thanks to Marshall and the rest of the Team that truly make it happen. :O I was in Miami Today and realized how much I truly love this City. It inspires me Alot and got me thinking... all together, I'm learning alot about myself through this whole process... Trying to gain more experience for more inspiration for the future.

I thought about doing this whole journal entry thing so everyone can get a better understanding or point of view on the type of people we truly are. I will say for myself, nothing makes me happier than touching people with my music, And on top of that...Doing music with people I love and truly care about. We always say that we are really close and nothing will break this band apart. (but thats what every band says before "the evil girlfriend" comes along.) Just kidding. (no...really.)

Like Marshall says we are at a critical point in our career, Either we make it or break it. But man Oh man Will we make it. Alot of this "band stuff" is all about egos to me...if alot of people just put their egos aside everything would be awesome. Either that or you clone yourself 6 times and learn how to play every instrument. lol. But that will never happen. (unless your Ryan Leslie).

Well, I realize by doing these little journal entries, how A.D.D. i truly am. lol. Cannot stay on one subject...Cupcakes, Milkshakes, Mixtapes, and skyscrapers. I will end this entry by thanking the people who truly support me, My band, and My Dream, GOD BLESS YOU ALL & THANK YOU!!!!

Gees!!! This week just started, and already I'm sweating!!! I think being busy is a great thing! Just tiring.... This week we have rehearsals for tour, Monday, we'll be in Isla Morada for Bartenders bash! Will definitly post pics on that. ;) then I will be in New York for a couple of days than off to Texas for the first leg of the tour!!! Let's gooooooo people! Footage will be bananas!!!! BANANAS!!!!!

Day off !!!

Wow...Day off, much needed after working on new songs and material. Im stuck on youtube watching 50 cant and Rick ross beef videos. This stuff is super entertaining! sucks you in!!!! Hopefully I don't get anyone mad at me in the future... other than that....check this out!!!

Post-Showcase :o

Wow! .... That's pretty much all I have to say about that! Sorry I didn't blog from the venue, but we were All over the place!!! Sound check and get dressed and this and that!!!! But otheer than that, everything went great! To be honest your boy was kind of nervous!!!!! C.E.O. Right in the front row!!!! But it was a lot of fun, But thank God for all the great people that helped make it happen! I am so thankful for the band and the management team that we have!!!! And thanks to Henry for having faith in us!!! Right now, were on the way to South Beach for a show!!!! POW! Let you know how it goes! Peace and Love :)

Anxious!!!!! and i cant sleep.

Wow, we have 3 days until our showcase in Miami! I'm excited, nervous, but more anxious! Its a wierd feeling to know that your life can change because of someone elses decisions! But a lot works like that if u think about it. (I'm straying).
But I can't sleep because I have a song stuck in my head. I have to write it...is it good? People will bow to It. (joke). But it will be titled "Get by". Hmm. Night!
