June......

Wowzers!!! Talk about being busy and time flying.It's June already and we are busy as hell!!! We just had another photo shoot like two days ago....at like 5am. Pictures came out pretty good though. We didn't even get any sleep. Things are happening and happening fast, and i really got to realize that sometimes we don't stop and think about how far we have come.....and that is in reference to everything! I mean....about a year ago, our band wasn't even complete, and we were doing shows in some broke down bars!!! Now we have a great manager, team and vision of what our goals are. in a time frame of a year we went from playing bars to doing what we love doing full time!!! God has a calling on my life as well as anyone else. us as a band and as individuals have been though alot.....but yet its for a reason...how many lessons we've learned along the way are crazy but for a reason. April 19th.....still in the studio for our e.p. It is coming out really good, I will enjoy it as will other people.....I know it. Its a lot of work, we started recording this stuff in November! And we have a lot of new songs we are ready to record, but we are taking it slow and doing it right. That is what truly matters. At the same time I'm trying to think of photo concepts for the band as well. We're really gonna be high fashion, I at least want us to be. So even if we suck, at least we'll look good. Yisser. Patience is everything these days.

4. Stand UP!!!!
FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN!!!. Stand for something or you will fall for anything. "Let us not be weary in doing good ; for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have the opputunity, Let us do GOOD!!!!" Galatians 6:9-10

5. Look UP!!!

zzzz.....

It is 3 something in the morning....I haven't got any sleep the last 2 days, it is pitch black in my room, except for the light on my sidekick... and yet because I keep hearing this song in my head, until I stop, get up, write it down, I can't sleep. It's hard, hardest reason is......I have to go to work tomorrow! People ask how do I write songs and how it works......honestly its wierd. This song that is keeping me up for example: I hop in the shower, and it hits me, I hear guitar and drums, start beatboxing it then once I have that down, I start singing/rapping whatever u want to call It. I t just happens, I couldn't force it if I tried.....but it's still hard work to balance everything. Just to give a checkpoint....its a samba type song that's gonna be huge in Brazil.....remember I said that ;)

Anyone that knows me knows that there is nothing that I hate more then having the feeling like I'm depending on someone for something. Imagine this, picture the thing you love the most (me for example:music).....If I hire anyone for anything, they don't share the same passion for what I do. I find myself.....producing, directing artwork, setting up shows, etc. For myself....being independent has a whole different meaning to me. Nobody will feel the same about your dream.
